O-Shot
A revolutionary treatment that helps improve sexual function and bladder leakage.
What is the O-Shot?
In simple terms, the O-Shot takes a bold new approach to helping women restore and enhance their sexuality. Additionally, it helps eliminate bothersome and sometimes embarrassing bladder leakage, a problem for so many. The O-Shot is a non-surgical office treatment. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) containing your body’s own growth hormones are harvested after a simple blood draw. PRP injections containing these growth hormones are then injected into specific areas of the vagina. Know that there is no concern for pain, as the areas to be injected are thoroughly numbed using a local anesthetic cream. Most patients feel little or no discomfort. And it all takes less than one hour. As the growth factors begin to activate tissue regeneration (in the same way your body would heal from a cut or scrape) there is an enhancement in sexual response almost immediately. For many the intensity is unbelievable.
The O-Shot.
Oh, but you’ll be amazed.
Women who have had the injection report:
Q~ How long does the O-Shot last?
A~ The effect of the O-Shot last up to one year. We find that some patients want to repeat before the year and that is usually because of the positive results and they want to enhance the results.
Q~ Is it painful?
A~ Before the procedure, numbing cream or a local anesthetic will be applied to the vagina. Most of our patients explain the injections a a slight sting.
Q~ Is O-shot ® safe?
A~ Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) has been used for many years, and the FDA has approved the use of PRFM for use in the knee to activate potent growth factors. It has been used in many fields, such as surgery, injury recovery, face, dentistry, and breasts. Since it uses your own blood, there is virtually no risk for allergic reactions.
Q~ How long does the procedure take?
A~ Including the patient prep, (numbing, blood draw, and actual injection), the procedure should take approximately 40 minutes.
